Custodian
I was born and raised in Mexico, where I worked at a local church, not as a member but simply because I enjoyed the work and the people I met there. In 1997, I moved to California, seeking new opportunities and a fresh start. During that time, my life took a significant turn when my husband helped me escape a difficult situation, rescuing me from an abusive relationship and giving me a chance to begin anew.
After relocating, my husband’s uncle invited me to move to Florida, where I embraced new opportunities and a supportive community. Through various jobs and experiences, I eventually found my way to Parkway Christian Church, where I currently work. Although I was initially skeptical about attending church, my perspective changed when a neighbor invited me to visit their church. That simple invitation transformed my life, leading me on a journey of faith that has profoundly shaped who I am today.
I am now passionate about growing in my relationship with God, knowing that He has a purpose and plan for my life. Being at the church has allowed me to develop spiritually and discover the joy of serving others. I’m also a proud mother of one daughter and a grandmother to two wonderful grandchildren who still live in Mexico. Outside of my work at the church, I dedicate my time to caring for the elderly, finding fulfillment in supporting and uplifting those around me.
